Description
The Olet is mainly used for the reinforcement type pipe fittings of branch connection. The body is made of high-quality forgings with the same material as the pipe, including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, etc. The Olet and the main pipe are welded. There are three types of connection with the Olet or other pipes, instruments and valves: butt welding, socket welding and threaded connection. MSS sp-97, GB / t19326 and other standards are commonly used for manufacturing Olet. The branch header provides a branch from a large-diameter pipe to a small-diameter pipe. The pipe on which the branch is connected is called the main pipe, and the pipe on which the branch is connected is called the Olet. Branch connections have parameters such as size, type, bore diameter and pressure rating. There are three pressure grades of butt welding Olet: STD, XS and sch160. The base of Olet is the same as that of butt welding branch, but its branch connection adopts socket welding connection.

Others: Olet has two pressure classes of 3000 × 6000 × 3. Miter branch is used for 45 ° branch. Butt welding, socket welding and threaded connection can be used for connection with Olet. Butt welding, socket welding and threaded connection can be adopted for the connection of elbow Olet. Short Olet is often used for valve installation and exhaust. There are two grades of thickness: XS and XXS. The length of short Olet is from 3.1/2 inch to 6.1/2 inch, and the end is socket or external thread.

Advantage
The base of the threaded Olet is the same as the butt welding Olet, but its branch connection adopts threaded connection and does not need welding. Butt welding Olet is the most common branch connector. Its end is beveled and connected with straight pipe by butt welding, so it is considered as a butt welding pipe piece. The design of butt welding Olet can minimize the stress concentration and provide overall reinforcement.
